Dining area: With breakfast bar. Casterton is also a 40 minute drive to the extinct volcanic town of Mt Gambier, where you can visit the deep Blue Lake and the Umpherston sinkhole cave garden. We provide toiletries, dishwasher tablets, washing tablets, all linen and basic cleaning essentials. If you like culture, you could try the Theatre by the Lake, with its enviable position on the shores of Derwentwater, which offers award-winning performances in drama and arts. This accommodation has preserved its Victorian and Art Deco heritage and building architecture, and thought has been given to providing a space that has been equally designed to be enjoyed in solitude or shared with love.

Hot tub private. January Emma January Wonderful overnight stay in a cozy log cabin! At A Glance. Hope to see you guys again soon. Just off the living room is a small but high spec shower room. The bakery Caffe Belgiorno may perfectly be used for dining within feet from the accommodation.

Best to stay at least 2 nights to explore the area. I also got these lovely goodies from Dotcomgiftshop:- Aren't the sewing pins beautiful? Also within easy reach is Puzzling Place, which is full of mind-boggling optical illusions. Casterton the home of the Kelpie dog, and yearly Kelpie festival in June, which has placed Casterton on the world stage, is located on the Victorian and South Australian boundary. Within a very short time, Lucy comes to decisions about the house; Hank; a year-old named Natasha who needs a stable home; and her previously unknown father. Rolf The cottage was in impeccable condition and very nicely decorated.

Lucys cottage book

Reviewed August 11, for a stay in July 1 person found this review helpful We had two lovely weeks here in July. Come back anytime!!

The lodge is just 5 miles from the vibrant Lake District town of Keswick, which is brimming with great restaurants, pubs serving local craft ales, an excellent range of shopping experiences and some memorable tourist attractions.

The space was clean and decorated beautifully. Threlkeld is a small village just off the A66, which is the main route between Penrith and Keswick.

Lucy's Cottage Salon

Never seen one like it. Amazing place and nice touches. The blurb on the back says:- "The first thing Laurence Bartram learns about Easton Hall, a crumbling stately home, is the tale of five-year-old Kitty, who disappeared from her bed thirteen years before.

The cottage is well equipped the bed very comfortable with a good shower and centrally located to the village. For example, Lucy explores the attic and notes a trunk she can't open without a key. There is also a local baker in the village selling lovely bread and cakes.

We came for a little city getaway and it was exactly what we needed.

Winter Cottage

And what's not to love about a sausage dog ruler? Denise did give us some cookies she made and they were irresistible! The carefully renovated and adorned property has been curated with furniture and art collected from around Australia and the world. January Marielle December Lucys cottage book cabin is beautiful in a picturesque setting perfect for getting away.

I'm hoping to visit my friend Nancy at her care home tomorrow and catch up on some more things at home in the afternoon, including grooming our neighbour's dog : On Tuesday we are hoping to go out for the day so I might be able to squeeze another blog post in before next weekend.

First Floor: Bedroom: With kingsize bed and beams. I have a lovely long weekend this week as I am off work tomorrow Monday and Tuesday. Lucy and Natasha also watch videos Beth made of interviews with Winter Cottage's last matriarch, Catherine Hedrick Buchanan, the woman who left Beth the house.

It's now and while the rest of England is rebuilding itself, the village of Easton Deadall is still haunted by the loss of almost all its men in the war. Within mins drive you can get to loads of attractions like wookey hole, cheddar gorge and Glastonbury which was great when you have kids.

Editorial Reviews Lucy Kincaid, a Nashville bar manager who wanted to go to art school, brings her mother's ashes and German shepherd, Dolly Parton, to a town on the Virginia shore she'd never heard of until recently. Just before Beth died of brain cancer, she told Lucy she had just inherited "some property" in Virginia, which would now be Lucy's.

If you like culture, you could try the Theatre by the Lake, with its enviable position on the shores of Derwentwater, which offers award-winning performances in drama and arts.Lucy’s Artist Cottage is our lovingly restored offering, a space which is filled with carefully collected vintage furniture and art, and is a self-contained boutique style accommodation located in the center of picturesque Casterton.
